It's always fun to work on a mixed media piece from a tutorial by artist Tamara Laporte. She is also the host of the Mastering the Mixed Media event.
I tried my luck drawing this lovely image following Tam's direction and couldn't wait to paint it. I drew it on Fabriano hot press watercolor paper (140 lb.). I painted this girl with Jane Davenport Watercolors and used Bombay Black India Ink for her hair. I used white gouache instead of acrylics. I darkened lines with a Stabilo All Pencil and a blending stump. Some details were drawn using Posca Pens.
I really enjoy the look of this lovely girl!
