"Laughing Girl" is from a tutorial by Karen Campbell for Awesome Art School. This is a continuation of the exploration of expressions in drawing.
I drew this girl in my Strathmore Toned Tan sketch book using a Graphgear 1000 Pentel Pencil and used several different pencils for the variety of lights to darks. These included: Blackwing, Stabilo All and a black Prismacolor Pencil. I put white highlights in the piece with a Schwan All Stabilo and a Gelly Roll Pen. I used a paper stump to blend the shading and erased some with a Tombow Mono Zero Elastomer Eraser.
Well she doesn't look at all like Karen's but I like how she looks in my book!
