I had such fun drawing and painting, this colorful watercolor! I've drawn my own version of gnomes in previous paintings. This musician is also my own hand drawn creation. I was able to give him a lovely home using the free Mushroom House digital image, thanks to DisDigistamps. I love the image, but made it my own, by altering it just a bit.
I used my light box to transfer the line drawings onto the Canson 140 lb. watercolor paper. I painted using Winsor Newton Cotman watercolor tubes and used a Micron Pen for additional details. The Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White came in handy for the mushroom dots.
