The Blue Door

Here's my attempt to follow a wonderful tutorial by artist Paul Clark, "The Blue Door." With some difficulty I painted on an old piece of Arches watercolor paper, using Winsor Newton Cotman tube paints. My technique has suffered from using this old paper, but I do like it. I will have to try again on different paper, one day.

As usual Clark's instruction is flauless and informational. Being able to stop and rewind or pause the instruction is always a plus.

It may not be my best painting, but I did enjoy painting it and like the old vintage look of the piece.

Fabulous painting, Carla! Jelly Bean Row is my favorite, but this one is super awesome too! Thanks for an inspiring response to our challenge at 613 Avenue Create!
