Celtic Hare in Gouache

This Celtic Hare taking a nap is from a gouache tutorial by Lucy Brydon for Awesome Art School. I recently fell in love with painting gouache and enjoy following Lucy's tutorials. So of course I tried this cute bunny.

I used a compass to draw two circles on a page in my Artezia Gouache Pad. I plan to paint another animal on the bottom circle. I used a Pentel Graphgear 1000 pencil to draw the sleepy bunny. As I painted of course the picture changed a bit. I tried to mix my limited paint supply for his colors. Since it was difficult to mix the shades, I decided to make the background one color and mixed a green with a bit of black to make it dark. I followed it up with white plants and trees. I used a dot maker for the ones at the bottom of the painting.
