The lesson in the drawing club was in graphite, and I did it with a Blackwing-Matt pencil in my tan toned sketchbook. For the lesson in the mixed media I used Prima and Jane Davenport watercolors, blackliner pens and more.
The lovely reference has a head full of flowers, but I chose not to use the flowers, but instead designed their hair styles.
The work done in both clubs was a great experience with using a reference and using a variety of mediums. I love my resulting pieces!
