This opening page in my new Art Journal was inspired by artist Jesse Peterson.
Here are my steps:
1) Spread watered down gesso on the page and let dry.
2) Water down 3 colors of acrylic paint.
3) Paint the colors across the page in 3 stripes and let dry.
4) Pick my photo, print it and cut around it.
5) Adhere the photo to center bottom of painted stripes.
6) Use Posca Pens to decorate around photo with dots.
7) Use Micron Pen to write things that make me happy around my photo.
I love this page as the opening to my new Art Journal and look forward to more ideas to do in this great book!
