Snowstorm in Watercolor

I was really happy to move to Florida and never have to shovel the snow again! I even tend to skip tutorials that include that cold white stuff. I relented when I got a look at Paul Clark's Snowstorm tutorial.

It was so fun playing with the Winsor Newton Cotman tube watercolors on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. The colors blended on the wet into wet surface and then I added the salt to the mix. I spattered Speedball acrylic ink for the falling snow.

I'm so glad to have had the chance to paint this snowstorm!
