Blooming Garden

Sometime ago I noticed this stencil online (TCW810-Blooming Garden 12x12") and began looking for it here in town. I finally ordered it from Amazon and I'm happy to say it was delivered the next day. Two days later I painted this wonderful colorful composition.

Here's what I did:

I sprayed Pixie Spray (temporary adhesive) by I craft on the back of the stencil in th area I planned to paint. I turned the stencil over and placed it on an 8x10" black Stonehenge cold press 140lb. watercolor paper. I painted in the black areas showing with Fine-Tec Pearlescent Colors.

Wow, that made up very nicely! Love the way some colorants look on black paper. Thank you for playing with us at Love to Craft Challenge and we hope to see you again in December for our final challenge.
