Cameo 13

Boy time has flown, it's already the 8th challenge over at Classic Design Team Open Challenge. Morgan's Artworld is the sponsor. I chose to use Cameo13 for my Design Team Inspirational card.

This stunning image was colored using Prismacolor Pencils. I placed the colored image in the Craft Artist 2 program and merged it with a pattern and colors to frame the lovely image.

Sweet 16 a New Release

Today is new release day at Digistamps4joy. I chose the lovely Sweet 16 by Jen Lee for my Design Team inspirational card.

I colored this image using Copic Markers and cut her out leaving a narrow white edge. I pput soft pads on the back to give the card an illusion of 3D. She was adhered to two lyers of card stock and embellished with a dimensional sticker and pearl. I could not wait any longer to use these background papers from my stash. I feel they are perfect for the occasion.

Pink Rose Card

The theme of the current challenge at Morgan's Artworld is embossing.

Another day and more roses. As they say practice makes perfect.Well, I don't know about perfect, but my roses seem to be getting better! This is Valentine 1 and for this card I used the following Copic Markers:
R81, R83, R85
G09, YG17
I cut around the colored floral design leaving a around white edge. Continuing my pink design, I used the Sizzix Diamond Embossing Folder to emboss the deep pink card stock, with my Cuttlebug Machine. I adhered the embossed card to a pastel pink card and adhered the rose design on top. The layered sheets were then glued to a white base card. the card was embellished with three adhesive pearls.

Lavender's Blue Card

Conie Fong is the sponsor of the current challenge at Crafting from the Heart. I chose to use Lavender's Blue for my inspirational Design Team card.

I colored this pretty girl using Copic Markers. I cut out Lavender's Blue leaving a narrow white edge.

I printed a purple floral background from my Craft Artist 2 program and adhered it to a light purple card stock. I glued the layered card stock to  white card base and adhered the cut image to the top with  soft pads creating an illusion of 3D. I found a cute sentiment in my stash and adhered it below the image and added pearls to each of the 4 corners.

Kidz in Florida

The current challenge at A Snowflakes Promise is just for fun. I chose to use  Lacey Sunshine's La Pia and Matt Kidz Street for my Design Team inspirational card.

I colored these two kids using Copic Markers. I used Craft artist 2 to merge them with a background created by my husband Sandy Brooke. The scene used was photographed at Flagler Beach, Florida.

Leaf Fairy Card

Artist Jen Lee has drawn some very wonderful digital stamps for Digistamps4Joy. The new release that I picked to use for my Design Team inspirational card is Leaf Fairy (J1819).

I colored this cute image with Copic markers and a couple of metallic pens for her wings. I placed the colored image into the Craft Artist 2 program and merged it with a background from the Natural Landscapes digikit.

Marcel Mime Card

I chose French Mime Marcel for my Design Team inspirational card. I used Copic markers to color him. I cut him out and placed him on soft pads to give that 3D illusion. The background is from Vintage Paraphernalia in Craft Artist 2 Program.

I'm looking forward to seeing some new entries in the Scrapper's Delights challenge.

The new releases by Fabrika Fantasy are such fun! I picked mine to work on for fun! My first is Frolicking Possums. I used Copic Markers to color the image and put it in the Craft Artist 2 program where I merged them with a background!

 My second card uses Sandwich Possums, also colored with Copic Markers and placed in Craft Artist 2. It was merged with a background created by my husband Sandy Brooke. The Starlite Diner was in Daytona Beach, Florida, until Hurricane Matthew came and destroyed it.

My third card uses Selfie Possums, also colored using Copic Markers and placed in Craft Artist 2. It was merged with a background by my husband. They are standing in wonderful Flagler Beach, Florida.

Wouldn't anyone of they be great to work on for the current challenge at Fabrika Fantasy??

New Release for Fabrika Fantasy Digis

A new challenge at World Wide Open Design Team begins today. I had such lovely choices from our sponsor Julia Spiri. I chose Little Ballerina for my Design Team inspirational card.

Places of the World: Paris

There's a new challenge beginning today at Mari Digis. I chose A83 Places of the World 3 for my Design Team inspirational card.

I colored the image with Copic Markers and a bit of metallic Recollections Pen. I layered a basic white card with two pieces of card stock. I cut the image out leaving a narrow white edge and glued the image to light blue dotted paper to give it a look of the sky. I cut around the image again leaving large areas of blue. I used soft pads to give the image a 3D illusion. I used stickers, a flower and pearls to embellish the card.

Sakura at the Beach Card

Another challenge opens today at Scrapper's Delights. I chose Sakura for my Design Team inspirational card. Isn't she adorable!

My Copic Markers are beginning to go dry and I am in need of refills, I am using my go to medium of Prismacolor Pencils to color this cute image. Here I am showing you the original Sakura in pencil and the one I did using alternative marker colors. She still looks good although she has been spending more time at the beach, working on her tan! I do live only 7 miles from the beach in Florida!

I placed the Prismacolored image in the Craft Artist 2 Program and merged it with a background created by my husband Sandy Brooke. The scene is Flagler Beach, only 7 miles from my home!

Halloween Dog Card

This is our second challenge over at Fabrika Fantasy and as you can see the theme is Halloween.
 There will be two prizes. The first winner, which must use a Fabrika Fantasy image will receive 3 digis and the 2nd winner, which could have used any image will receive 1 digi image.

For my second Design Team inspirational card, I used Halloween dog. This adorable dog was colored with Copic Markers and cut out leaving a narrow white edge. It was adhered to the top of 2 layers of card stock and a black base card.

Roses

Challenge #129 starts today at Digistamps4joy. This month's theme is anything goes with the optional twist: make your own background, suggestions could be to use embossing, distress or what I did, use dies.

I chose to use the Rose Trio image for my Design Team inspirational card. I used Copic Markers to color these roses., but one got really messed up. So, rather than scrap my other pretty blossoms, I cut away the mess. I cut out the remaining roses.

I layered 2 pieces of scrapbook paper on the white card base. I used Oval Regalia a Spellbinders Nestabilities die to make a lovely white lacy doily. I adhered the doily to the top of the layered papers. I glued the two roses on top and embellished the card with pearls and a sentiment.
