This "Moonlit Witch," is from a video tutorial by Karen Campbell and Lucy Brydon for Awesome Art School.
I used a compass to draw the circle for the moon on an Arches 140 lb. cold press block. I followed Karen's drawing lesson of the witch using a Graphgear 1000 Pentel Pencil. The moon is painted using a Jane Davenport watercolor set. The hair, hat and the face of the witch was painted in Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus watercolors. The gold dots on the witch were done with Fine Tec Pearlescent Colours. I was happy to finally take out and use both the Hydrus and Fine Tec watercolors. It's been awhile since I used those two paint sets.
Happy Halloween!!
