Street Scene Line and Wash

This painting was created following a tutorial by Jeannette Vivo Lagasi of Vivo Vintage Designs. She sent her thanks to Peter Sheeler for the inspiration from his You Tube tutorial. I've seen the work by Peter Sheeler, but hadn't tried it on my own.

I drew this piece using a Graphgear 1000 Pentel Pencil and painted it using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. This is the second page in my Canson XL 140 lb. watercolor book. I used a Micron Pen for details and a Gelly Roll Pen for highlights. I used Sharpie Creative Markers for additional details.

I love working in this book using the washi tape to hold the white area, framing the work.

I enjoyed this piece and I know I will be back for more of Jeannett's tutorials.
