I drew this lovely Witch Galaxy with her very own owl from a tutorial by Lucy Brydon for Awesome Art School. I love the practice I'm getting, drawing some really interesting subjects. There was a selection of reference photos offered, but I love the one of Lucy's painting.
I drew the witch on Canson 140 lb. watercolor paper. I used two sets of watercolors: Jane Davenport and Prima Watercolors. I used Kuretake gold from the Gem Colors set and Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof white for highlights.
I am very happy with this piece and proud of my drawing! Isn't this a great piece to post the day before Halloween?
