When I first saw the tutorial with the Art Deco Girl at Awesome Art School, I knew I wanted to draw her. I wanted a new and friendly face to be on the first page of my new Strathmore Toned Tan Sketch book.
I didn't watch Karen Campbell's tutorial. I wanted to give myself a chance to draw her on my own using Karen's drawing for a reference.
My Art Deco Girl doesn't look like Karen's, but she's a great look for that page in my sketch book!
I used markers, pens and colored pencils to make this girl mine!
