I enjoy getting to learn to use the Copic Markers, that I kept in a draw for awhile! Awesome Art School has taught me the techniques I need to make my work stand out! This Wee Fairy sure does!
The colors on this photo are not as nice as the original art, the camera doesn't do it justice! I take a lot of care trying to get the colors right, by swatching them on a separate and checking them in my Copic Marker book.
I drew this fairy on Bristol Paper following Karen Campbell's lesson. I learned to layer colors with the markers. The Molotow Blackliners bring out the details and a gell pen was used for highlights. She is a beauty and although I followed Karen Campbell and used a reference, I drew her my way!
