Wee Fairy in Mixed Media

This Wee Fairy was painted from a two day workshop on line free from Awesome Art School. The first day I copied Karen Campbell as she drew the fairy. I used a Graphgear 1000 Pentel pencil. A few days later, I watched as both Karen Campbell and Lucy Brydon painted their own versions of this fairy in watercolor. I painted my own while watching their painted fairies come to life on the screen.

I painted my Wee Fairy on Canson 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper, using an Art Philosophy Woodlands Palette. For details I added Molotow Blackliner and white Gelly Roll Pens.

I love how my Wee Fairy came out!
