Multi Colored Patterned Feathers

This colorful page in my Strathmore Toned Tan sketch book came about from experimenting with my new marker sets. I enjoy working in this sketch book. The color I put down over the tan page is a nice contrast. Zentangles are a great stress reliever!

I drew the two large feathers with my Graphgear 1000 Pentel Mechanical Pencil. The stripes were colored using Sharpie Creative Markers and the details were drawn using a Molotow Blackliner Pen. I used stencils for three small feathers and colored them with Marvy Opaque Metallic Markers. I'm impressed with all my new markers. Each have wonderful color over my tan page and none of them bled through the page.

This page is so nice to come across in my book after so many black and white or the few colored pages.

I need to do more of these!
