Gazebo in Watercolor

This lovely scenic watercolor of a Gazebo, is from a tutorial by Paul Clark.

Clark designed this scene from a photograph and discussed how he decides what elements to use in the photo.

I used Paul Clark's template on my Arches 140 lb. cold press block and painted the scene using Winsor Newton Cotman watercolors. I used Grumbacher Miskit over the rails of the bridge to try to keep them white while I painted the scene. I used Dr. Ph Martin's Bleed Proof White for highlights.
