Garden Ruins in Watercolor

This "Garden Ruins," tutorial by Paul Clark is an exercise in exaggerating greens. Well, you can't say I didn't use green!

I used an outline provided and traced the design onto my Arches watercolor cold press block. I painted with Winsor Newton Cotman watercolor tubes and added highlights using white Holbein artists gouache. The painting was enhanced with yellow chalk pastel.
