This design was inspired from a Butterfly tutorial by Sarah Cray for Let's Make Art.
For this butterfly I enlarged the outline and used Saral Transfer Paper to place the image on black watercolor paper (Stonehinge 140 lb. cold press). Instead of the vain lines on the outline I drew design lines on the transfer paper/ I painted inside of th shapes with Fine-Tec Pearlescent watercolors. I painted white dots on the edge of the image using Dr. Ph. Martin's Bled Proof White. I finished the painting using a black Micron o5 pen around the shapes.
