As soon as I finished a Pearlescent Feather, I knew right away, I had to do the Peacock on the same Stonehenge cold press black watercolor paper, with the same Fine-Tec Pearlescent Watercolors. I used the Peacock tutorial by Sarah Cray for Let's Make art. It came out spectacular!
I was looking for something new and different to paint using my Fine-Tec Pearlescent watercolors. I came across the Frugal Crafter, Lindsay Weirich's Metallic watercolor tutorial using black watercolor paper. It's a fun and easy Peacock Feather tutorial. Many different mediums can be used to complete this project. Instead of the metallic watercolor that Lindsay used, I substituted my Pearlescent set. It was fun and in this way I saw how these beautiful paints look on the Stonehenge cold press black watercolor papers. They look fabulous and helped me to decide on the very next project for my Pearlescent paints.
I love playing with these lovely paint sets and can't wait to try another painting.
