My Little Boat a Watercolor

This watercolor painting is from a tutorial by Paul Clark. Well I like the painting, but I knew drawing a boat wasn't going to be easy. I wanted to try that and the seagulls and use my new rigger brush to paint the sea weed. It's done, not too bad!

I used Winsor Newton Cotman tube watercolors on Canson 140 lb. cold press paper. I added white General's Pastel Chalk Pencil to enhance some high lights on the painting.

Hi Carla, your paintings are wonderful and this one is no different. It's a fabulous beach scene with lots of interest in the sky and water and the boat is great!
Thanks for sharing with us at 613 Avenue Create.
