Bluejay Watercolor

Now that my husband Sandy has given me those Christmas requests for bird paintings, I'm addicted! Here's my newest watercolor bird, a Bluejay! I found the outline on Pinterest. I transferred this outline to my watercolor paper using a light box.

I painted this bird using Winsor and Newton Cotman tube colors on Canson 140 lb. paper. For a few small details, I filled in with a black Micron 01 pen.
