I still enjoy designing cloths and scenes using the wonderful collection of Julie Nutting Paper Dolls. Flor this 12x12" canvas I used Priscilla.
I colored Priscilla's clothes, skin and hair using Copic markers. Her extended skirt is made of lace and gathered below her costume, between the costume and a black piece of card stock.
The background was created by merging two vintage photo (Moulin Rouge and Cadillac) taken by my husband Sandy Brooke. I used the Craft Artist 2 program to merge the two, making an all new photo. This photo was adhered and sealed to the 12x12" canvas with Mod Podge.
The doll was popped on top of the background using soft pads.
