To a Classic

My wonderful hubby is having a birthday this month and I thought he would enjoy having a card using a photo he shot and some old cars. For the old cars I used a file I have called "Classics," from Deedee's Digis. I chose to use the pre-colored images of two cars and merged them with my husband's color sketch of the Starlite Diner in Daytona Beach, Florida. The images and the color sketch went together well in the Craft Artist 2 program. I added text to the bottom right. I printed the picture once with everything included and then I printed the red truck again and cut it out. To give the card more depth and an illusion of 3D to the scene, I used soft pads. I added pearls to the hubcaps. I adhered the printed scene to a black base card.

I know my hubby will love this card!
