Today I am showing off two cards I made
as part of the Cute as a Button Design Team. Artist Francesca Lopez
creates wonderful images to be used by card-makers and scrapbook hobbyists. This challenge offers chances to earn new digital images by
sharing your work with us.
This image is so beautiful that I
decided to design two completely different cards as inspiration for
the new challenge. You can find this stamp here: http://cute-as-a-button-stamps.myshopify.com/collections/digital-stamps/products/digital-digi-stamps-big-eyed-digis-img000209-such-a-time-as-this-by-francesca-lopez
For the first card I used a bit of
Prismacolor Pencil and metallic Gelly Roll Pens to color this royal
image. I cut it out and glued this image to a background printed from
the Stately Home digikit in the Craft Artist 2 program. Then these
layers were glued to the base card.
For the second card using the same
image, I slightly colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils. The
colored image was then merged with a background designed with parts
from the Paper Wonderland digikit and parts of a variety of others in
the Craft Artist 2 program.
I hope my work will interest you in
sharing your work at Cute as a Button where anything goes.
