Ok, so I went to my usual karoake hang out to be with my friends last night. I brought some of my latest crafting work with me....I do love to show off! Well, I showed some really nice friends of mine my new altered vintage cigar box and matching cookbook and introduced it as a recipe treasury to be handed down in the family. The next thing I knew was, it was sold! A friend bought it for her mom, who was sitting next to her! Now, isn't that the coolest thing?

Well that is just totally cool, they bought it! Now you'll have to make another :)
I found your link at the Crafty Soiree. Where did *you* find the cigar box? :)
Thanks for sharing,

Hi,
Thanks for your comments! I just finished a second set for a local school sale on Saturday. The cigar box are at the tobacco stores, but I had several full of old art supplies...which found new boxes!
Your cigar boxes are very cool, and I love the vintage touch. I've had some lying around waiting for just the right idea to come along. You've definitely inspired me!
