I drew her using a Blackwing Matte pencil in my Strathmore Toned Tan sketch book. I added shading with a paper stump. I drew white highlights and other white areas using a variety of pens and pencils including Gelly Roll Pen, General's Charcoal White and a Aquarellable Pencil.
After thinking my fairy was going to stay in the ugly stage, I waited a bit and went back and gave her another try. Boy am I glad I did. I love the finished piece!
