This King Frog in Graphite is from a fun tutorial by Lucy Brydon for Awesome Art School. She lead the lesson step by step.
I drew this creature on Strathmore watercolor paper (140 lb.) and used a Graphgear 1000 Pentel Pencil and a Blackwing Pencil. I used a paper stump for shading and a kneaded eraser to rub in highlightes.
I think I was pretty successful. It was a fun drawing to work on.
