I've been enjoying the variety of art tutorials to be found at Karen Campbell's Awesome Art School. I've learned new art techniques and mediums that I never knew about.
I recently painted a number of gouache pieces and added supplies, growing my collection. Pinterest has a lot of tutorials using gouache. For this colorful street scene in gouache, I combined tutorials by Ellen Crimi-Trent and Melanie from her Visual Mind Channel. From Ellen's, I was inspired to use several buildings. From Melanie's I used the garden hedge with a line of flowers.
I drew this colorful scene with my Graphgear 1000 Pentel Pencil, on my Arteza Gouache Pad.The scene is painted in Holbein Gouache.
This was a fun piece to work on and I love that it was put together with my own ideas!
