Here are my last three pages of seven women in Karen Campbell's Whimsical Watercolor and How to Draw Series Book 1, Widdle women Edition. Their names are Kool Kat, Unsure Ursula, Zen Zara, Flowy Flora, Happy Helen, Blissful Beth and certainly not least Sassy Sam.
For these three pages of women I used Fabriano hot press watercolor paper. The girls were drawn using a Graphgear 1000 Pentel Pencil. I added shadow with a Blackwing-Matte Pencil and a blending stump. I painted them with an assortment of palettes from Prima and Jane Davenport. I used Molotow Blackliners for their outlines and for small colorful detail I used Master's Touch Fineliner Markers. Highlights were done with a Gelly Roll Pen. There are detailed suggestions of what to use for the girls, but as Karen says, I used what I have! I followed Karen's step by step details for the women, that were so much fun to work on. It's a fabulous book!
