Woodland Scene

I enjoyed painting this Woodland Scene from a tutorial by Paul Clark.

I transferred the line drawing offered onto my Canson 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper, using my light pad. I painted this scenic beauty with Winsor Newton Cotman tube watercolors. I used the General's Pastel Chalk Pencil to add grass to the scene and a bit of Winsor Newton gouache for the highlights. I'm especially proud of how this Woodland Scene came out.

This is just a beautiful painting Carla. I love the splatter effect. It makes it feel a little bit frosty and a little bit autumn magic too. Thanks so much for joining us at AJJ for Jo's Nature challenge. hugs-Erika
