Metallic Mountain Watercolor

Continuing on my watercolor journey, I discovered a tutorial that combines regular watercolors with the lovely shine of metallic watercolors. The tutorial is from the "Studio of M.M." a Canadian artist.

Each line of the mountain ranges in this painting was done separately and some used Kosher Salt. Some were wet into wet and others wet onto dry paper. Each line needed to be dry before applying the technique to the next line.

I used Winsor Newton Cotman watercolor tubes and Master's Touch metallic watercolors.

This was a well worth while challenge!
