Artist Paul Clark gave classes for two weeks in January, on the Canary Islands. When he returned home he gave this wonderful tutorial to his classes online.
I painted this lovely subject on Arches 140 lb. watercolor block, using Winsor Newton Cotman watercolor tubes. The piece was enhanced with Generals Pastel Chalk Pencils and Soft Pastels.
Boy those students of Paul Clark were so luck to get to go on such a great trip. I'm glad he still continues to teach, sharing his talent online.

I love this! When I first saw this, before I knew it was the Canary Island, I thought of the coast of New England and a childhood memory of walking on the shore with my father. Beautiful work!
Thanks for hanging out on our front porch at 613 Avenue Create !
