Two Pearlescent Watercolor Paintings

I really enjoy using my set of Fine Tec Pearlescent watercolors. All 24 colors are just so luscious to look at.

I found a really nice tutorial by Emma Jane Lefebvre  on Utube. I followed two of her projects; the wreath and the mountains. I love how they look and that they really shine!

These paintings are 5x7" on black Stonehenge cold press watercolor paper. I used a tooth brush to get the spatter in the sky of the mountain scene. The two colors I used do add to the perfect night sky.

Now to find more paintings to play with this paint set.
