My Collections

I'm in a Watercolor Painting Group online, which challenges members each week with a different theme. For my challenge theme "My Collection," I chose to illustrate my doll and paper doll collections. In the past I collected dolls and designed cloths for them, learning to improve my sewing skills. My paper doll collecting includes designing my own paper doll books, which I hope to see my granddaughter playing with one day in the near future.

I used both Winsor Newton Cotman watercolor tubes and Faber-Castell watercolor pencils for my painting and add detail with a Micron 03 pen.
