My grandson’s birthday party
came and went really quickly. He enjoyed a visit from Elmo and opening his
wonderful birthday gifts. But not only did we celebrate the 3 year old’s
special day, but his mom’s too.
My daughter-in-law’s special day is August 19th
and since that will be a very busy time (she starts law school the following
day), she got her birthday gifts early.
Two of the gifts I gave her
were a set of aprons. I bought these blanks at Michaels and Hobby Lobby and
used my Brother Embroidery Machine to make them special. These designs came
from the Embroidery Library, online. My daughter-in-law is the owner of the blog “Will
Cook for Smiles.” She is also participating in a photography course sponsored
by Sears. Through that class she got a brand new giant grill! She loaned the
“Grill It” apron to my son, but she does intend to be the “Grill Master” of the
family.
