I have been looking for a project to use my collection of printed papers. The design for the page was inspired by a Diane Salter tutorial, I found on Pinterest.
I began using book pages for layers of collage in the background applied with Matte Medium and a light coat of gesso. Once it was dry I scribbled over the top with Carandache Crayons and blended that with a wet brush. I blended it further with a baby wipe.
Using a template from the tutorial I traced and cut out the cat pieces and adhered them to the page with the Matte Medium. Once dry I outlined the pieces of the cat with a Posca Pen. I traced and colored two butterflies to the background, from a Craft Emotions stencil.
This was a fun project, which came out so well!
