Wee Fairy in Watercolors

I drew this fairy on Canson 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper following a tutorial by Lucy Brydon for Awesome Art School.

Aside from learning to draw magnificent fairies, the techniques I learn make this art school worth both the time and money!

As I draw with my Graphgear pencil, I've learned to make my own little changes to the drawing.

I used two Prima watercolor sets, Woodlands and Complexion, as well as a bit from a Jane Davenport set and for additional detail I used gold from a Kuretake Gansai Tambi Metalic Opal Color set. For the black lines, I used a Molotow Blackliner and a Pental Pocket Brush Pen. A gell pen was used for the highlights.

Can you tell, I love showing off this wonderful fairy!
