This Spring Window watercolor painting is from a tutorial by Sarah Cray for Let's Mark Art.
I used Jane Davenport watercolors on Canson 140 lb. coldpress watercolor paper. Most of the flowers in the bottom window frames were made from dropping salt on the wet paper.
The window frame was made from using washi tape applied to keep the frame white. It's helps to keep edges bleed-free and doesn't rip the paper. I added Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White for highlights, flowers and to clean up the frame a bit.
This project was delightful and has several other applications using the window frame idea.
