This piece is from a tutorial by Tony Burt for the Sketchbook Revival online workshop.
I tried this project twice. The first time I copied the artist's demonstration in the yellow and pink. But then I caught the fever of this sketching project and messed around with my husband's old photo. It just happened to be on my computer.
I used Jane Davenport watercolors, a variety of of pens and inks and some Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White.
I'm both surprised and happy with the outcome of this piece!
