I used my light pad to transfer the outline to my Canson 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. I painted this piece with Jane Davenport watercolors and added lines with a Micron 01 pen and a Uni-ball Signo pen.
This painting is 8x10", giving me lots of room to play around with the scene. And I did!

What a great project!! Love the scene and your coloring is so nice. I haven't read the Hobbit either but I can imagine this scene it the book. Thank you for sharing with us over at Worldwide Crafters and Colorists Challenge.
