Chickadee and Magnolias in Watercolor

 

The inspiration for this painting came from a tutorial by Diane Antone. I love the elements and style of this tutorial, but chose to make some changes to make it my own.

I chose to change the flowers and paint them with the more vibrant paint palette of Jane Davenport watercolors. I also added line with a Micron 01 pen.

I guess I pushed the envelope a bit when I painted this piece, but I love the finished work!
