Here's another painting from a wonderful tutorial from Diane Antone. This has to be my favorite piece from all the tutorials that I have worked on from this artist's tutorials.
I especially went to Staples to by the special ruler that has various size holes. I used it as a stencil to create the bokeh effect background.
To paint this piece, I used a number of supplies:
Light Pad to transfer template to Canson 140 lb, cold press watercolor paper
Winsor Newton Cotman tube watercolors
Holbein Artists Gouache
Dr. Ph. Martin Bleed Proof White
Grumbacher Misket (masking fluid)
Micron 01 pen
