This watercolor painting is of Scotney Castle from a tutorial by Paul Clark. This painting was certainly a challenge. I learned a lot and love its outcome!
I used graphite paper to transfer the outline onto my Arches 140 lb. watercolor block. I used Winsor Newton Cotman watercolors with a bit of white Holbein Artists' Gauache for highlites. I used a Micron 01 for the line.
I'm really loving the work I get to do on scenes from Paul Clark's tutorials.
