My Besties Img25 Stempunk Christmas Socks Card

http://www.mybestiesshop.com/store/p6407/img25_Steampunk_Christmas_Socks_Besties_digi_stamp___.html
Here's a new and unusual Christmas card. I used My Besties Img25 Steampunk Christmas Socks to design this steampunk holiday card.

I used a combination of Copic Markers and a Recollections gold pen to color this image. I cut it out and placed soft dimensionals on the back.

I cut 2 pieces of card stock for mats. I embossed 1 piece of cad stock using the Sizzix (657195) Pocket Watches embossing folder in the Cuttlebug Machine and then distressed it with ink pads. I also cut a few metallic gears in my Cuttlebug Machine using the Sizzix Bigz Die Gadget Gears (656636). I adhered these to a black base card and popped the colored image in the middle of the card.

Best Buddies Memory Dex Card

https://bugaboostamps.com/products/bugaboo-brats-best-friends
Crafting from the Heart is currently sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. I chose Brats Best Friends for my Design Team inspirational card.

These cute little girls were colored using Prismacolor Pencils and cut them out. I used the Heidi Swapp Memory Dex dies to cut the card in my Cuttlebug Machine twice: once for the background and another for the sky. I used unbranded dies for the rainbow colors (adhered on sticky paper) and the sun. I assembled and glued the various pieces and glued the girls on top.

I am giving this card to my best friend on my birthday.

I hope you plan to participate in the challenge at Crafting from the Heart, where anything goes.

Img 221 I Love Winter Card

Here's a new My Besties card for the Winter or the holiday season. I used Img221 I Love Winter for my card.

I printed the image three times: once on printed paper and twice on Copic Marker card stock. I cut out the parts I needed from one marker card and the printed paper and adhered them to the remaining card stock. I used Copic Markers to color the rest of the image.

I mounted the colored image on to a mat made of one layer of card stock and one of printed paper onto a white  base card.

Crafting from the Heart has a new challenge beginning today. The challenge is sponsored by Oddball Art. For my inspiration card, I used Tutu Girl #294 and made a Memorydex Card.

I colored the image with Copic Markers and cut it out leaving a narrow white edge.

I printed a brick wall from the Craft Artist 2 Program and cut it out in the Memorydex card shape with the Heidi Swapp die, I add a narrow strip of contrasting brick to the bottom of the card.

I adhered the digital girl to the card with soft pads and glued the sentiment to the card. I added various stickers to enhance the look of an old dance studio.

Come and join the challenge at Crafting from the Heart, where anything goes.

Bon Voyage Memory Dex Card

http://digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=742
http://digistamps4joy.co.za/
There is a new challenge beginning today at Digistamps4joy. The theme this month is anything goes with a twist to dd ribbon or lace.

I chose to use Going Somewhere image MP208 and designed a travel Memory Dex card.

I colored the flowered luggage using my copic Markers and cut it out. I punch the holes at the bottom of the card with the Heidi Swapp Memory Dex punch.

I cut out a Memory Dex card using the Heidi Swapp die in my Cuttlebug Machine with Eiffel Tower print card stock. I adhered the luggage to the card and embellished the card with a bon voyage sticker from my stash.

I trimmed a tag and covered it with pink card stock and glued it to the top of the dex card on the back. I embellished it with a n airplane sticker from my stash and wrote my name on the tag. I tied the tag to the luggage with a pink ribbon.

Come join our challenge where this month's theme is anything goes with a twist to add ribbon or lace.
