Adorbs Dragons Doll 6 a My Besties Card

 I have a new My Besties card today. The image is called Adorbs Dragons Doll 6.

I colored this cute image using Copic Markers and cut her out leaving a narrow white edge.

I cut two solid colored mats and embossed one using the Cuttlebug 37-1136 Bloom Dots embossing folder, in my Cuttlebug Machine.

I adhered the mats in layers onto a white base card and then I put soft dimensionals on the back of the cut image and popped it on top.

I embellished the card with a fabric flower from my stash on the lower right corner.

A Butterfly Faerie Card

A new challenge began today at Crafting from the Heart. The sponsor for the challenge is Moonflower Digital Stamps. I chose to use Ashlee Butterfly Wings Faerie for my design team card.

I colored this lovely image with Copic Markers and cut her out leaving a narrow white edge.

I cut two solid colored mats and embossed one using the Cuttlebug 37-1136 Bloom Dots embossing folder, in my Cuttlebug Machine.

 I adhered the mats in layers onto a white base card and then I put soft dimensionals on the of the image and popped it on top. I embellished the card with three gems on the lower right edge of the card.

Grandma's New International Paper Doll Book

I finished a new and exciting International Spiral Paper Doll Book. This the first book in the new collection and includes 5 countries and paper doll costumes for each of the 2 dolls. This is of course totally made by me using dolls from the StampNUp Paper Doll collection. The costumes were created by me using the StampNUp doll clothes as the bases for the design. I used the Craft Artist 2 program for several pages of the book and for two of the countries I used cut paper craft for the illustrations. The book itself is made using the Heidi Swapp Cinch Binding System. Each page is made using chipboard punched with the Cinch. I hope you enjoy looking at my new paper doll art book.

My Bestie Sweet Lil Aussie Koala Img 5026

Here's a second new January Release. Her name is Sweet Lil Aussie Koala (Img 5026).

I colored this sweetie using Copic Markers and cut her out leaving a narrow white edge.

I designed a background landscape mat using two solid colors and adhered them to a white basic card. I glued the image on top.

My Bestie Betty Davis Eyes Img 2468, Birthday Card

My new birthday card has a new image, which was released in January. This lovely image is called Betty Davis Eyes (Img 2468).

I printed the image twice, once on Copic Paper and once on printed scrapbook paper. I cut out a large headband bow from the printed copy and colored the image on the Copic Paper with Copic Markers. I left the headband bow uncolored.

I cut the colored image out leaving a narrow white edge and glued the printed bow over the uncolored one.

I adhered a solid mat to a white base card and glued a colored doily to it. I placed my finished image on top.

I stamped and matted the sentiment and adhered it to the card.

Grandma's Paper Dolls, a Handmade Spiral Bound Book

This is the 4th and last spiral bound book in my "Grandma's Paper Dolls" series. The collection was inspired by my lovely baby granddaughter! It was very enjoyable to work on this collection. The entire set was a learning experience, I even made each of the pages with the Heidi Swapp Binding System. They are chipboard covered with scrapbook paper. The dolls and their clothing are from a "StampNUp" set, that has been retired and I bought thru a secondary source online. I made use of the many metal cutting dies in my collection, putting them thru my Cuttlebug Machine. Several pages made use of the wide variety of stickers from my stash. It was great fun to work on and see it all come together.

I hope to work on a second limited addition in the near future.

Valentine Angel Card

There's a new challenge beginning today at Crafting from the Heart and the sponsor is Bugaboo Digis. I chose to use Angel I love you for my Valentine card. This is actually two stamps, the angel and the love you lettering.

I placed both stamps in the Craft Artist 2 program and merged them. I printed the cute image and colored it with Copic Markers. I used a decorative scissor to cut around the colored image and adhered it to a light blue mat. I glued that matted image to a printed card stock, which I glued to a white base card. I embellished the card with various punched hearts.
