I always love working on Tamara Laporte's tutorials. I wanted to get started on it as soon as I saw it in my email.
This mixed media piece was inspired by a recent tutorial by Tamara Laporte. Before I began my work on this piece, I watched Tam's video. I decided I would sketch the face with my Graphgear Pencil and work on the piece using her colors and elements of the tutorial but I did make changes. It's still pretty close to Tam's piece.
I used Fabriano hot press watercolor paper, white gouache, Prima and Jane Davenport watercolor paints. I used a couple of black line pens, Molotow and Micron and a white Gell Roll pen.
I love how this piece came out!
