Violet Valentine an Anniversary Card

Here's a My Besties Valentine card that is going to bring lots of love to my husband on our Valentine Anniversary! This sweetie carrying all those hearts is called Violet Valentine. I colored her using Copic Markers and cut her out leaving a narrow white edge.

I cut out one purple card stock mat and put it thru the Cuttlebug Machine with the Sizzix embossing folder #656771. I adhered the embossed mat to a white blank card. I popped the image on top sing dimensionals on the back. The card is embellished with a variety of foam stickers from my stash.

My Besties img 955 Valentine Card
Here's a Valentine card, I recently made using img 955. I colored this cutie with Copic Markers and cut her out leaving a narrow white edge.

I cut 2 mats of different shades of pink and put the lighter one thru the Cuttlebug Machine with a Spellbinders Basic Lattice cutting die. I adhered this to the other pink mat and adhered the layered mat to a basic white card. I adhered a number of flower embellishments and 3 butterflies (cut using the Martha Stewart punch) to the card.

Surfing Memory Dex Card
There's a new challenge beginning today at crafting from the Heart and the sponsor is Le Ann's World 101. I chose to use Byron Surf'n for my beach memory dex card.

I colored this cute image using Copic Markers. I also colored some sand at the bottom of a light blue Memory Dex card. I cut out the image and adhered it to the dex card. Below the image I added a Recollection sticker.

Cards for Kids

I don't recall who mentioned giving cards to an organization called Cards for Hospitalized Kids, but I think it is a wonderful idea. For several years I sent my handmade cards to organizations who gave them to soldiers to use for their loved ones. After a while the group folded. But helping kids and giving them a reason to put a smile on, can be as easy as designing and sending a card or maybe even several. Here's the website for you to check this out:

Roof Top Santa Card
There's  new challenge this month at Digistamps4joy, the theme is anything goes with the option of 4 Seasons. I chose to use "Ah, there it is!" I love the winter holiday season, when I can watch my grand kids open their holiday gifts!

I colored Santa, the roof and chimney with Copic Markers. I used Liquid Pearls Dimensional Pearlescent Paint for the top of the chimney. I used Stickles ice glitter glue for the trim on Santa's hat and cuffs.

I placed a red mat on a white basic card and adhered the digi stamp to it. I stamped and die cut a sentiment and glued it to the card.
