Little Girl Holiday Card

The current challenge at Crafting from the Heart is just for fun, no prizes will be awarded. The theme as usual is anything goes. I decided to show you the newest addition to my die cut Christmas card collection.

This little girl is made using an unbranded die set. Each piece of card stock was cut in my Cuttlebug Machine. Because her dress had cute little hearts cut into it, I hand traced the dress using card stock and glued the cut piece to the back of the dress. Now she has red hearts floating on the plaid dress. She didn't have shoes, so I drew some on her feet with a Micron Pen. I put white dots in her eyes with a white Gelly Roll Pen.

To give her more of a Christmas look, I cut a Santa hat on my Circut Machine using the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. I add trim to her hat with the white pen and Stickles Ice Glitter Glue.

I stamped and die cut the sentiment.

I made a double layer mat and adhered it to a white basic card.

I adhered the little girl and the sentiment on top of the layered card.

Let me introduce you to Dora BelleMy Besties image. I enjoy using her so much that I made two lovely cards with her on them!

Card 1: I used Copic markers to color this cutie and I cut her out. I cut a small mats and adhered them to a white base card. I glued a die cut hot air balloon with 2 sentiments to the upper right corner of the card. I placed soft dimensional pads on Dora Belle's back and popped her on the top of the card.

Card 2: I printed a copy of the colored image and cut it out. I placed the soft dimensional pads on the back. I adhere a blue mat to a white base card. I cut a sun with my new die in the Cuttlebug Machine and also 6 colors of the rainbow with another die in the machine. I put each color arch in order on paper that I had prepared with adhesive. I glued the sun in place and then I overlapped the sun with the rainbow, onto the blue card. I finished the card by popping Dora Belle on top.

The current challenge at Crafting from the Heart is sponsored by Crafty Sentiments. I chose to use Harriet - Cold Christmas for my inspirational card.

I colored this cutie with Copic Markers and cut her out. I adhered her to a double mat, which I glued to a white base card. I printed the sentiment on a green card stock and cut it with a shape die in my Cuttlebug Machine.

A new challenge began today at Digistamps4joy. The optional theme is "Flower Frenzy." I choose Flower Bowl for my design team inspirational card.

I colored the image using Copic Markers and placed it in the Craft Artist 2 program. I merged the image with background colors and the sentiment.

Come and join our challenge where anything goes with the optional theme "Flower Frenzy."
